As a psychic medium, my work isn’t limited to communicating with loved ones in Spirit. Psychic readings are an important part of what I do, and they’re different from mediumship readings.
Mediumship focuses primarily on communication with those who have passed.
A psychic reading focuses on you.
Your life. Your relationships. Your career. Your decisions. Your possibilities. And sometimes, the things you already sense but haven’t completely trusted yet.
What Is a Psychic Reading?
A psychic reading is an opportunity to step outside the noise of everyday life and look more deeply at what’s happening around you.
When I work psychically, I use my intuitive abilities to receive impressions and information about you and the circumstances you’re asking about.
That information can come in different ways.
Sometimes I receive a strong feeling about a situation. Sometimes information simply comes with a sense of knowing. I may receive an image, a word, an impression, or something that draws my attention in a particular direction.
The goal isn’t to tell you how to live your life.
It’s to give you additional information and perspective that may help you see your situation more clearly.
Ultimately, you make your own decisions.
And I think that’s important.
What Can You Ask a Psychic?
People sometimes come into a psychic reading believing they’re supposed to sit quietly and wait for me to tell them everything.
You don’t have to do that.
I welcome questions.
In fact, if there’s something important happening in your life, I want to know what you would like clarity about.
People ask me about all kinds of things:
Relationships and love.
Where is this relationship going? Why has the dynamic changed? What should I understand about what’s happening between us?
Career and work.
Is it time for a change? What might I be overlooking? Why do I feel dissatisfied even though everything looks fine on paper?
Major decisions.
Should I move? Take the opportunity? Start the business? Make the change I’ve been thinking about?
Family situations.
How can I better understand what’s happening within an important relationship or family dynamic?
Personal direction.
Why do I feel stuck? What’s changing? What should I be paying more attention to?
The future.
What possibilities seem to be developing, and where might my current choices be leading me?
You can also come to a psychic reading without one enormous life question.
Sometimes people simply know that something is changing, and they want another perspective on what they’re feeling.
Psychic Readings Aren’t Only About Predicting the Future
This is one of the biggest misconceptions about psychic work.
People hear the word psychic and immediately think:
Tell me what’s going to happen.
Future possibilities can certainly come up during a reading. But I think psychic work becomes much more useful when we look beyond simple prediction.
Your future isn’t necessarily a movie that’s already been filmed.
You make choices.
Other people make choices.
Circumstances change.
An opportunity you accept can lead you in one direction, while declining it can lead somewhere completely different.
That’s why I prefer to look at the future in terms of possibilities, patterns and direction.
Where does the energy appear to be moving?
What seems to be developing?
What might be getting in your way?
What possibilities haven’t you considered?
And perhaps most importantly:
What can you do with the information?
That’s where a psychic reading can become practical rather than simply entertaining.
Sometimes Psychic Information Can Be Surprisingly Specific
Although I don’t believe psychic readings are only about predicting the future, I’d be lying if I said predictions don’t sometimes come through.
And occasionally, they’re remarkably specific.
I’ve had experiences during readings that still stand out to me because of how clearly the information presented itself and how quickly it was validated.
One client was waiting to hear whether he had gotten a particular job. He really wanted a direct answer:
Did I get the job, and when am I going to hear?
I told him he had gotten the job and that he would receive confirmation on the 17th.
He later contacted me to let me know that’s exactly what happened.
He received confirmation of the job on the 17th.
Another client came to me concerned about her boyfriend.
She could feel him pulling away, and naturally she wondered what that meant for their relationship.
What I received was very different from what she feared.
I told her that I felt he was taking a step back, but not because he wanted to leave the relationship.
I felt that he was seriously considering his future—and as he did, he couldn’t picture a future without her in it.
Then I told her what I believed was coming:
He was going to propose.
He proposed to her that weekend.
One of my favorite examples involved a client who decided to test me.
She didn’t want to tell me the question she had come to ask. Instead, she wanted to see whether I could determine what was on her mind.
I told her that what I was picking up surrounded her housing.
I then told her that I felt she would be moving the following month because of a job opportunity in another state.
Her hidden question?
“Will I have to move for work?”
She later confirmed that she did, in fact, move the following month because of work.
Why These Experiences Matter to Me
I share these stories not because every psychic reading produces a date on a calendar or a prediction that unfolds within a few days.
They don’t.
Psychic information doesn’t always arrive with that degree of specificity, and I would never promise a client that it will.
What these experiences demonstrate for me is something different.
Sometimes information comes through that I couldn’t reasonably know from the conversation we’re having.
Sometimes it’s a feeling.
Sometimes it’s an image or impression.
Sometimes it’s a deep knowing.
And occasionally, it’s remarkably specific.
But there’s another part of these stories that I think is just as important.
The woman worried about her boyfriend already felt that something had changed.
She was right.
Where her interpretation differed from what I received was why it had changed.
She interpreted his distance as possibly moving away from the relationship.
What I received was someone stepping back to contemplate a much deeper commitment.
That’s an excellent example of why I find psychic readings useful.
Sometimes your intuition is picking up something very real, but when you’re emotionally involved, fear can fill in the blanks.
A reading can potentially offer another perspective.
Prediction Isn’t Destiny
Even after experiences like these, I don’t view psychic information as an infallible forecast of a future that’s carved in stone.
People have free will.
Circumstances change.
Decisions have consequences.
Other people’s choices can alter what happens next.
What I receive in a reading is information that I interpret to the best of my ability at that moment.
Sometimes that information describes what’s happening beneath the surface.
Sometimes it points toward where circumstances appear to be heading.
And every once in a while, it says:
You’ve got the job. You’ll hear on the 17th.
When something that specific comes through and is later validated, I certainly appreciate hearing about it.
Sometimes You Already Know the Answer
This happens more often than people realize.
Someone comes to me asking about a relationship, job or decision.
As the reading unfolds, something becomes apparent.
And they’ll say:
“I knew it.”
They may have felt it for weeks or months.
They just didn’t trust themselves.
We’re all intuitive to some degree, but intuition can be difficult to hear when we’re emotionally involved in a situation.
Fear gets involved.
Hope gets involved.
Other people’s opinions get involved.
We start second-guessing ourselves.
Sometimes we don’t actually need someone to hand us an answer.
We need enough clarity to recognize the answer we’ve already been sensing.
Psychic Information Can Arrive in Different Ways
People sometimes assume being psychic means hearing a mysterious voice announcing exactly what will happen next.
My experience is much broader than that.
Psychic information can come through what are often called the clairs—different ways intuitive information may be perceived.
Clairvoyance is associated with intuitive seeing or imagery.
Clairaudience involves intuitive hearing.
Clairsentience involves receiving information through feelings or sensations.
Claircognizance is that unusual experience of simply knowing something without knowing how you know it.
Different psychics experience these abilities differently.
And you may recognize some of them in yourself.
Have you ever known someone was about to call before the phone rang?
Walked into a room and immediately sensed tension even though nobody said anything?
Had an inexplicable feeling that you shouldn’t do something?
Thought about someone you haven’t seen in years and then unexpectedly heard from them?
Not every coincidence or gut feeling needs a supernatural explanation.
But experiences like these are often what lead people to become curious about their own intuition.
What’s the Difference Between a Psychic Reading and a Mediumship Reading?
This is especially important because I offer both.
If you book a psychic reading, the focus is primarily on your life and your questions.
If you book an evidential mediumship reading, the focus is primarily on connecting with loved ones who have passed and receiving information that may help identify and validate the person communicating.
There can sometimes be overlap.
A loved one in Spirit may offer perspective about something happening in your life. Psychic information may also arise during a mediumship session.
But the intention of the reading is different.
A simple way to think about it is:
Psychic reading: What’s happening in my life?
Mediumship reading: Can I connect with someone I love in Spirit?
Knowing what you want from the session can help you choose the reading that’s right for you.
Do I Need to Be in Palm Springs for a Psychic Reading?
No.
Although I’m a psychic serving Palm Springs, Cathedral City and the Coachella Valley, my private readings are available by Phone and WhatsApp Video, which means you can have a reading from virtually anywhere.
You don’t need to be sitting across the table from a psychic for intuitive information to come through.
In my experience, physical distance isn’t a barrier to the work.
You can be in Palm Springs, elsewhere in California, across the country or on the other side of the world.
What matters is the connection and the reading itself.
How Should You Prepare for a Psychic Reading?
You don’t need an elaborate ritual.
You don’t need crystals arranged around your computer.
And you certainly don’t need to spend the morning worrying about whether you’re “open enough.”
I recommend something much simpler.
Think about what you actually want from your reading.
If you have questions, write them down.
If one issue matters more than everything else, say so.
And be open to information that may approach your question differently than you expected.
You are also welcome to take notes.
Most importantly, don’t feel as though you need to perform for the psychic.
The reading is for you.
A Psychic Shouldn’t Make You Afraid
I think this deserves to be said clearly.
A psychic reading should not leave you terrified that you’re cursed, surrounded by evil entities, destined for disaster, or required to spend hundreds or thousands of dollars to have someone “fix” your energy.
I’ve personally seen the damage these kinds of practices can cause.
Fear can make people vulnerable.
Ethical psychic work should respect your ability to make your own choices.
I don’t believe a psychic should attempt to control you through frightening predictions or make you dependent upon repeated readings.
A good reading should give you information to consider—not take your personal power away from you.
Can a Psychic Tell Me Exactly What Will Happen?
As you’ve seen from my own experiences, sometimes information can be incredibly specific.
But I wouldn’t trust anyone who claims they can guarantee every detail of your future.
There’s a difference between receiving a specific prediction and claiming that everything is predetermined and guaranteed.
Psychic information is still interpreted through the person receiving it.
And life involves free will, changing circumstances and decisions made by many different people.
That’s why I don’t believe psychic readings should replace your own judgment.
If you’re making a medical, legal, financial or other high-stakes decision, use the appropriate qualified professional as well.
A psychic reading can offer another perspective.
It shouldn’t become a substitute for living your life.
What Makes a Psychic Reading Valuable?
For me, the value of a psychic reading isn’t simply whether someone predicts an event correctly.
Yes, telling someone they’ll hear about a job on the 17th and having that happen is exciting.
But there’s another kind of value that can be just as important.
Maybe you see a relationship differently.
Maybe you finally acknowledge that you’re ready to leave a job you’ve outgrown.
Maybe you recognize an opportunity you’ve been afraid to pursue.
Maybe you realize the feeling you’ve been experiencing isn’t something you need to ignore.
Or perhaps you simply walk away feeling clearer than when you arrived.
Sometimes clarity doesn’t mean receiving a dramatic revelation.
Sometimes it’s simply being able to say:
“Now I understand what I’ve been feeling.”
And that can change everything.
