Have you felt as though something in the world is changing?

From an astrological perspective, this is a fascinating time.
Some astrologers and spiritual traditions describe humanity as entering—or approaching—the Age of Aquarius.
And while there is no universally agreed-upon date when the Age of Aquarius officially begins, the astrology of our current period certainly contains some remarkably Aquarian themes.
What Is the Age of Aquarius?
Astrological ages are enormous periods of time associated with the slow movement of Earth’s rotational axis, known as the precession of the equinoxes.
Each astrological age lasts roughly 2,000 years, although there is considerable disagreement about exactly where one age ends and another begins.
For that reason, I don’t think it’s accurate to simply declare that on a particular date humanity woke up in the Age of Aquarius.
It’s better to think of this as a transition between eras.
And transitions are rarely neat.
One world doesn’t disappear on Tuesday so that another can begin Wednesday morning.
Old systems break down while new ones emerge.
Old beliefs compete with new ideas.
People become uncertain about what they can trust.
And that sounds remarkably similar to the world we’re living in today.
Aquarius Is About Breaking Old Patterns
In astrology, Aquarius is associated with innovation, technology, unconventional thinking, independence, humanitarianism, networks, community, and breaking away from systems that no longer serve us.
Aquarian energy asks us to look at something we’ve accepted for generations and say:
“Does it have to be this way?”
That’s one reason our current period can feel both exciting and unsettling.
Change sounds wonderful until it begins changing something we’re comfortable with.
And right now, some of astrology’s slowest-moving planets are occupying new territory.
As of August 2026, Pluto is moving through Aquarius, Uranus is in Gemini, while Saturn and Neptune are both in Aries.
Those aren’t quick planetary movements.
They describe themes astrologers traditionally associate with entire generations and social eras, rather than simply what kind of day we’re going to have.
Pluto in Aquarius: Transformation on a Massive Scale
Pluto is associated astrologically with death and rebirth, power, hidden forces, transformation, destruction, and regeneration.
Aquarius is associated with technology, humanity, networks, collective systems, independence, and radical change.
Put the two together and the symbolism is extraordinary.
Transformation of the collective.
We can already see technological developments challenging assumptions about work, communication, creativity, privacy, intelligence, and what it even means to be human.
But Pluto doesn’t merely change technology.
Symbolically, Pluto exposes what has been hidden.
It can force us to examine systems of power and ask who benefits from them.
So the coming years may continue challenging humanity to reconsider institutions and assumptions that once seemed permanent.
Uranus in Gemini: A Revolution in Information
Uranus is the planet astrologers associate with disruption, breakthroughs, revolution, innovation, sudden change, and awakening.
Gemini governs communication, information, ideas, learning, and the exchange of knowledge.
Uranus moving through Gemini therefore carries powerful symbolism around rapid changes in how humanity communicates and processes information.
We’re already living in a world where information moves almost instantaneously.
Ideas can spread globally within minutes.
Artificial intelligence is changing how knowledge is created and accessed.
And people have access to spiritual traditions, philosophies, scientific theories, and alternative ways of understanding consciousness that previous generations might never have encountered.
Whether we ultimately use that access wisely is another question.
But the door to information has been thrown wide open.
Saturn and Neptune in Aries: Turning Visions Into Reality
Neptune is traditionally associated with spirituality, intuition, imagination, dreams, compassion, and the dissolution of boundaries.
Saturn represents structure, responsibility, reality, discipline, and manifestation.
And both are now moving through Aries—the sign associated with beginnings, independence, identity, courage, and action.
Symbolically, I find that combination fascinating.
Neptune asks:
“What can you imagine?”
Saturn asks:
“What are you actually going to do about it?”
Aries says:
“Begin.”
This can be a period when ideas that once remained purely spiritual or philosophical begin demanding practical expression.
It’s no longer enough to say we want the world—or our own lives—to change.
We’re being challenged to participate in that change.
Why Does Everything Feel So Unsettled?
Transformation rarely feels peaceful while it’s happening.
Think about renovating a house.
Before the new room appears, there may be dust everywhere, walls torn open, furniture displaced, and moments when you wonder why you started the project in the first place.
Collective change can feel similar.
People may experience uncertainty, anxiety, restlessness, emotional sensitivity, dissatisfaction, or the strange feeling that something is changing even though they can’t quite explain what it is.
Astrology offers one symbolic way of understanding that experience.
It says:
The old structures aren’t necessarily going to carry us into the new world unchanged.
Are People Becoming More Psychic?
This is where my experience as a psychic medium becomes particularly interesting.
I believe many people are becoming more aware of their intuitive abilities.
That doesn’t necessarily mean humanity suddenly developed psychic abilities in 2026.
I believe intuition has always been part of us.
What’s changing may be our willingness to notice it.
More people are talking openly about intuition, synchronicities, dreams, energy, meditation, near-death experiences, mediumship, consciousness, and experiences they once might have been afraid to discuss.
People frequently tell me things such as:
“I knew the phone was going to ring.”
“I dreamed about someone and then heard from them.”
“I knew something was wrong before anyone told me.”
“I keep seeing the same signs everywhere.”
“I felt my loved one around me after they died.”
“I’ve always had these experiences, but I never told anyone.”
Perhaps these abilities aren’t suddenly appearing.
Perhaps we’re simply becoming more willing to pay attention to them.
An Aquarian Awakening?
Aquarius is traditionally associated with awakening, unconventional ideas, collective consciousness, and looking beyond established ways of thinking.
So if we’re moving through an increasingly Aquarian period, I think it’s reasonable—within an astrological and spiritual framework—to wonder whether more people will begin questioning the boundaries of consciousness itself.
What is intuition?
What happens to consciousness after death?
Why do people sometimes know things they seemingly shouldn’t know?
Why do certain dreams feel different from ordinary dreams?
What exactly is the connection between us?
Science may eventually answer some of these questions.
Others may remain mysteries.
But curiosity itself can be part of an awakening.
You Don’t Have to Become a Psychic Medium
Increasing psychic awareness doesn’t mean everyone is supposed to become a professional psychic or medium.
For many people, intuition may simply become another tool for navigating life.
You may become better at sensing when something isn’t right.
You may notice that certain people energize you while others leave you depleted.
You may become more aware of synchronicities.
Your dreams may become more vivid.
You may experience stronger gut feelings.
Or you may simply begin questioning assumptions you’ve carried for years.
The first step isn’t trying to force psychic experiences.
It’s paying attention.
Don’t Confuse Awakening With Fear
There’s another side of this that I think is important.
Periods of uncertainty can make people vulnerable to frightening spiritual claims.
Not every strange feeling is a psychic warning.
Not every difficult day means negative energy is attacking you.
Not every coincidence is necessarily a message from Spirit.
And nobody should frighten you by claiming that you’re cursed, spiritually attacked, or carrying negative entities—and then conveniently offer to remove them for a large amount of money.
Developing intuition should make you more discerning, not more frightened.
True spiritual growth, in my opinion, involves learning to trust yourself while remaining grounded.
Maybe the Change Is Happening Inside Us Too
We tend to think of changing eras as enormous historical events.
Governments change.
Technology changes.
Economies change.
Cultures change.
But perhaps an era also changes one person at a time.
Someone begins questioning what they believe.
Someone trusts an intuitive feeling.
Someone becomes interested in meditation.
Someone experiences a connection with a loved one in Spirit.
Someone realizes that consciousness may be more mysterious than they previously believed.
And suddenly the world looks a little different.
Whether historians someday call this period the beginning of the Age of Aquarius isn’t something any of us can know with certainty.
But we are unquestionably living through extraordinary change.
And perhaps part of navigating that change is becoming more conscious of something humanity may have possessed all along:
our intuition.
